I just realized all https sites stopped working for some reason and all I get is 'Cannot Find ...' the usual error message. I am pretty sure its some SLL certificate problem because I have defaulted all IE 6.0 settings and disabled and again enabled the SSL2 & SLL3 in Advanced Tab.

The only solution I can think of is to re-import or install SSL certificate on my browser on WinXP Professional., because it might be somehow get corrupted for unknown reasons whereas the rest of internet is working just fine.

but where to find information to re-install the certificate, a long time ago I think I knew a file in Windows sub-folder somewhere and as soon as I imported it in the Tools>Internet Options> Contents> certificates and then prolly used Import but don't remember anymore.

any help to resolve will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi mdadnan - this problem has been fixed in WinXP SP1 - see SSL Connection Does Not Work on Windows XP (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314864)

Thank you for your response also I was using SSL sites till yesterday it just started acting weird today. Is it possible that I can replace the file Crypt32.dll from another system WinXP or maybe SP1 as for now an update is impossible.

Theoretically, that should work but, not having tried it, I cannot say for certain.
