direct connection errors
Well, I think for many many ages i have had this problem.
I try to host a server and no one can connect to me. I use Netgear RP614 Websafe Router and dsl which uses a pppope adapter because of dynamic ip. I tried to ask everyone but they can not figure it out! I forwarded the port (eg 3782 for roger wilco) I heard something about NAT having to be a problem and if anyone can help me out please do. Btw, I can connect to other servers too which i find odd. Cant believe how frustrating this gets  It would show in the Server IP Address of the game/server as 169.254.231.56.

Try forwarding a range of ports....3782 - 3783 this might help.
