forgive the confused sounding reply, but.... what?! (lol, long friday already)

Could you explain a bit more detail or maybe even a small screen shot?

ok. I was fooling around with the toolbar on my desktop, i was moving the workspace switcher thing around and my mouse got frozen or something, my curser is stuck as an arrow thing, i don think my comp is frozen becuase my clock still works and i got a gaim message saying i was disconnected because i signed on another computer.

My Mouse is sorta stuck, i can't click on anything! and i can't get a screeenshot.!!! because i'm on the windows comp. right now

Can you do a CTRL-ESC keyboard sequence to see what processes are running. If any are pretty high....list them here.

yup, CTRL ALT 1 thru 6 gets you to virtual consoles.....you were then able to reboot safely...which is great. CTRL ALT 7 while in one of the virtual consoles will bring you back to the graphical 'X' session.

Keep an eye out for further mouse issues though....could be a driver or hardware port problem. When it happens, just keep a log of what you were doing when it happens....if it happens again.

You do mean 'alright thanks'? I have a 16 y.o. niece who uses that 'aight' talk, and everytime she uses it around me, I ignore her on purpose. Not many people over the age of 20 are going to understand you if you use those 'lazy' words on the web. Just an FYI bud....write well and you will be understood! :) (FYI = For Your Information)

lol, sorry it's just a habit

it's just that the L is a little too far out there, and I wouldn't want to say:

aright

but i agree that's lazy. i will try to fix that.
