Best thing to do here is to try to repair internet explorer, by going into Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove programs>Microsoft Internet Explorer and there will be an option to repair it

Have you tried deleting the index.dat file.

Edit:

\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Cookies\index.dat

\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\History\History.IEx\index.dat

\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\History\History.IEx\MSHist012001123120020 101\index.dat
\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local
Settings\History\History.IEx\MSHist012002010720020 114\index.dat

\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local
Internet Files\Content.IEx\index.dat

There are some trial ware apps that could do this for you.

Hi eyesockeTT - have you checked the date on your computer and made sure that it is accurate?

You are very welcome eyesockeTT Cookies have a finite date. The problem was caused because the cookies expired prior to 2005.
