i used to go to places like:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/highlightgrad2.htm

and the images would actually move, but now when i move my mouse over them it doesn't do anything. i've went to my internet options and hit: Reset to Defaults

but that didn't help. then i went to internet options again and hit the enable Java stuff but that didn't work...

what's wrong!??

Java isnt your problem its a completely different thing. Do you have javascript disabled? because looking at the code on that page it uses nothing but basic JavaScript and IE image filters. If you dont have javascript disabled try lowering your security settings some times that works.

Also go in to the IE settings and goto the advanced tab. Scroll down till you find Mulitmedia, try playing with those settings.

if it still doent work either reinstall IE or have aa friend make a copy of their registry settings in HKCU and HKLM for IE so you can overwrite yours.
