Exclamation uninstall sofware problem

I am trying to remove an application from my hdd. When I start my computer, windows installer prompts me to put the cd into the cd-rom. Once I place the cd into the drive, it spins but is not being read. Then I try to uninstall using Windows' Add/Remove programs with no success. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance...

Application: HP Photo & Imaging
Device: HP Photosmart Printer 7350
OS: Windows 2000 Prof.

its allways nice to have a system cleaning program like Mcaffe Quick Clean ($12-$20)... but run MSCONFIG or SYSEDIT to see if you can find what is causing this.

So, you're stuck with mostly undefinable whipped mint crap, mindlessly wolfed down when there's nothing else to eat while your watching the game. Sure once in a while you get a peanut butter cup or an English toffee but its gone to fast and the taste is fleeting. In the end, you're left with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts, which if you are desperate enough to eat leaves nothing but an empty box of useless brown paper wrappers.

I used Norton Systemworks to unistall the software and ran a few system checks to ensure all files had been successfully deleted.
