Here's my situation. I have 2 physical hard drives. One is 80GB (master) partioned into two partitions. One partition has XP Pro (NTFS) and one has WinME (FAT32). I installed another hard drive (3GB Slave) to install Win2000 on just to play around with it. So now I have two physical hard drives and one of them has 2 partitions. When I installed Win2000 I chose to choose the install directory and drive during install. I installed it to the new 3GB drive. Well, everything seemed to work fine. When I started Win2000 it booted up fine. When I shut it down and tried to start up XP Pro it said there were missing or corrupted system files! When I'm in Win2000 I can see all my XP Pro files but none of the system files. Did I write over them with Win2000 maybe? Windows ME still works fine by the way. Is there a way I can recover my XP system files if this is the case? What if I removed Win2000 from the BOOT.INI file? Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi radatronic,
The problem is probably due to having installed WIN2K after installing WINXP, that's why it's advisable to install multiple OSes in order of "age" (oldest to newest).

You could give this a try and see if it helps:
Go here (http://dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_repair_9x.htm) and follow the instructions for Repairing the Windows XP Boot Loader.

Let us know if that helps you to boot into all your operating systems.
