Hi,
Can someone please tell me how I to change the setting so I can see all of a drop down menu, instead I see just what I use the most. The rest is hidden by a double arrow pointing down. I have to click on this double arrow to reveal more options with in a program. Does that make sense.........
Thanks:rolleyes:

Yes, that does make sense. Go to Start>Settings>Taskbar and Start Menu and under the General tab, click in the checkbox beside Use Personalized Menus to uncheck it, then click on Apply then OK.

That should have worked not only for the main menu items but also for submenus of the applications. Is it the same type of double arrow pointing down that you see or is it a single arrow?

What you are looking for is the scroll progams option.
Edit: Oopz wrong OS forum. :o
Well that is what the option is called in XP. :D

Okay, I thought you meant the menu items in Start>Programs only.
To change this option in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., open the application then go to Tools>Customize>Options tab, then click in checkbox beside "Menus show recently used commands first" to clear checkmark there, then click on Close button in the Customize dialogue box.
