too much spam

All of a sudden I'm getting a lot of spam in my outlook express. I usually got a few here and there, but now there is an awful lot
of it. No matter what i do, it keeps coming back. Can anyone tell me of a proven way of getting rid off or cutting back on this annoyance? thank you

However, I will try ro work out that problem, and get back to you about creating a web page. I wont know untill i'm sent another link in my e mail. until then thanks a lot. I f you can get back to me, I'll be able to find out if everything's ok. thank you very much.

Hi JJackman

Guard your email address and do not unnecessarily give it out. Also ensure that you never give your password to anyone as a favourite tactic of spammers is to hijack an account and then use it to send out thousands of spam emails.

Create a special Screen Name to be used just for online 'public' areas such as chat rooms or newsgroups, where spammers often go to gather email addresses.

Never click on the "Unsubscribe" link in junk email you get; it generally does not work, and may actually result in your getting even more spam.

Block the domain from where the spam is coming from.

Hope this helps.
