hi,
i was wondering if RedHat 9 came with a MySQL Database already installed?? i noticed the option when installing the OS. I'm pretty sure i have it installed, but how do i set it up!? i want to run PHPBB2 Forums on it and i need a mysql database. thanks

I would be surprised if it didn't, and if it doesn't it can easily be installed, but I've moved this over to the Linux forum to see if anyone over here has a more definite answer :)

Didya read the manual or help file on it? Most often in a case of setting something like this up, the database doc usually walks you through it.
