Word pad is screwy...

Not sure if this is Wordpad or Win/98 itself. Here's the story.


My wife was typing out alot of Information for Home remedies. She tried to save it, and when she clicked on the Yes (I want to save)... It went to a screen saying Loading windows. (No Reboot) Then it went right back to where she was at. After supposedely saving the document. She wanted to check it out and this is all that came up.... Any Ideas on what might have happened. (hope this makes sense...

Hello, was this a swf file that she was try to save. Curious.

No, sure wasn't. She just typed out what she wanted in Wordpad and tried it.

For some reason, windows screwed up. Looked like she had reboot it (but she hadn't), when it came back up, it showed the above.

Hi Dodge, I had a similar problem with file corruption on my old laptop a couple of years ago. In my case, it was caused by bad sectors and crosslinked files.
