close button @email links problem

Hi again everyone. Lately i've been having problems with the email links to replys from the forum. I click on the link and and i get the message that "this program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down." then " an error has occurred in internet explorer and will close down". Also, on a lot of sites, when i try to close down with the close button, or from the file menu, it will not close. all i get is a bell sound. Don't know whats causing this. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thank you

Well it may be caused by multiple things. My suggestion is to repair Internet Explorer (go to Add/Remove programs...select it and click Add/Remove and then a selection box should ask you what you want to do...select "Repair")

Hi enatt, Problem solved. Did a search and destroy with spybot that helped me with a problem before on your forum. everythings fine now. Thanks for the help John

Got ahead of myself there. forgot to check my email. Did a similiar thing with spybot search and destroy which I previously got from one of the other members and it fixed the problems. Thanks for the help Thank you enatt66
