today we was driving up the street when we heard a loud pop, I had my wife pull over and we looked but couldn't find any damage.
We came to find out that a new neighbor kid 12 years old was shooting a dart gun out of his bedroom window, we knew he was throwing snow balls at passing cars but this was really bad.
when we got home that evening I was sitting out side watching them when they took off into the back yard,oh by the way there was 8 kids there with out any adults watching them.
well they seen me watching and started yelling at me what are you going to do about it *****,I pulled out my cell phone and then they started really yelling, go ahead and call the cops ***** f you a** hole.
well I didn't call the cops but I did call a couple of neighbors and they called the cops and when I seen the cops come I went up to this house and had a talk with the police,
they made all the kids tell us they were sorry, but I don't think this is the end of it,spring is in the air and I'm not looking forward to summer.

Oh my God!!! Do you believe the nerve of kids these days? Do they think they won't get in trouble? Or is it that they haven't gotten into any trouble with their parents thus far and this is the result? I would absolutely wring my kids' necks if I even thought they would smart off to an adult, what's more cuss them out. Irons, I hope they straighten it out...:O(

One option is to turn in the parents. Do it enough times and the Childern Services will show up and knock on their door. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

i'm with Junky on this one. you have to get the parent's attention.
just a thought....
how can a parent teach decent behavior and/or morals when he/she does not know what decent behavior and/or morals are?

Well Pclpro, very good point, and I think that's half the problem these days!
Hey Iron, I do hope that is the end of it for you!

And we wonder why the kids are shooting their classmates. Goes right back to the parents. I have always taught my children to say yes maam/sir and to this day they still do. No way in hell would I tolerate my children talking to any adult or another child in that manner.
I'm with Junky on this one. Call the HRS if they keep it up.

Getting back to the topic... I agree what Junky said. Keep pounding on the parents till it sinks in.

Mmm, not the best parent to ask here, but I made things a little easier on my youngest...
Young guy forever picked on my youngest daughter, so I went round to see his Dad. His Dad was as obnoxious as the son so I punched him in the face. I continued to do this on every occasion until the boy stopped picking on my daughter... it stopped and I would do the same again, no, I would do worse agian. I tend to fight fire with Supernovas.

that seems to be a big problem here NO DAD and every week a new boy friend, mother is never home, the neighbor next door to the boy says he sees the boy home alone all night long laying on the couch sucking his thumb the boy is 12 years old.
All was quiet today no kids out playing and no snow balls.
DO I think this is the end of this, no way just the bargaining, this kid asked me how many snow balls did I every throw at cars when I was his age,I told him none and I didn't have a dad to raise me either,so that excuse gets old with me the worst thing I ever did was put a pumpkin in the road to watch it get ran over, but I never would endanger somebody life by shooting or throwing snow balls at cars never was my cup of tea.
Geordie No 1 I know where your coming from there has been a few times I pulled guys out of there cars for something they done to my daughter, I never backed down from any of them and one of them holds a 10th degree black belt, I just yanked him harder and all he said was sorry.

Even more reason to call the child services if she is leaving him home alone at night. Sounds like he needs a more stable home than the one he's in. Also sounds like he's trying to get in trouble for the attention. Did you check their backyard for your shovel?

update
I don't know what's happened here, there has been nobody around that house for the last couple days, some of the neighbors think the police might have taken her to jail, I personally don't know, but things have been quiet around that house which is a rental by the way.
we will watch and see
