cmos battery failed

the cmos battery failed in one of my pc's and it's the type that cannot be replaced so i want to take the two harddrives from it and put them in another pc I have here. they are both pretty close to being the same in the way of motherboards and processor speeds. is there anything i should do other than setting the jumpers. should i set the bio's to auto detect. the master hd already has win98 on it
