Slow Loading

Is the site loading slowly for anyone else? It's taking forever...my site is still loading very quickly though...same server.

To try a proper test Kimmy try cleaning out fully your IE temp int files with all browser windows closed and see if your site loads slower/quicker than normal

For me they're both running same as usual.

Maybe they're doing work on the southern cross cable (the cable linking oz and nz up to America).

Dunno

Can't say I read about that Steven, though I know in the period you mentioned they were doing a lot of work on it It was making my page download of US sites sooooooo slow.

Whether both events are linked I'm not sure tho...

Well it is Sunday morning here, probably Wednesday night in OZ,
I have to admit that it is also very slow loading here too!! Some pages load immediately, others, well let's just say you could go out and do the grocery shopping, and call in the pub on the way home, before the page is loaded up!!!

Dave.

PS. By the way Mishy, did them beers arrive yet? I got such a great deal on them, but they don't allow tracking, so who know's where they be!!!

lufbra,

I got em ~glug~ today ~glug~ and am feeling ~glug~ rather good ~glug~ thanks mate Mind you they had got rather warm

Dunno mate maybe yous are having cable probs or something because ya both know me well enough to know I'm very straight with things like this, and I'm genuinely not having any problems whatsoever. Same goes for the others who agreed they had no probs.

Is this just a "today" problem ?

Wow, so glad the beers arrived, but sorry they are warm, then again, you'll have to get used to that, for when you move back to the old country!!

Yes I think it is just a today problem here, and I sure ain't blaming you at all, no way!! Could be the server is on a coffee break, though it does seem a little faster now, just going into replying here was very slow at loading, oh well, the joys of tekknoligee eh!!

Dave.
