Disk I/O Error

I have recently formatted a computer running windows 95....And when i restarted using a windows 95a Boot Disk i would receieve the message Disk I/O Error....I cannot even reach A:\ or C:\ where i can type commands because it just says that message when i start it...Please help...I am on AiM my sn is cRe8zNbOi i would appreciate it if somebody would IM me and help...

When you get that error does it give any other information with it? Such as Status 00000..... etc... If it does then post the exact error message.

Have you taken a look in the Bios? Make sure all settings are correct.

I had same prob, it was solved by the fact that my ribbon was plugged in the wrong way round!!
