Sorry this breaches windows licence agreement and as such is a violation of forum rules.

Windows 95 use to come on Floppy, but it was so small of a program then. With later versions of 95 and with 98 it just wasn't feasable to do so. With 98 it would take about 120+ diskettes. Not quite worth messing with.

If you need Windows 95 on floppy (you wont be able to get 98 on floppies) you could call around at local computer shops. Someone may still have them laying around. Goodluck.

Can't copy it from cd to floppy. Aside from the legal issues , the floppy version is set up in a whole different way. I have a copy that I bought some time ago at a computer surplus store and tried to make a back-up copy on new disks in case of damage to the original. Problem is , there are 14 disks and 11 of them contain cab files that are 1.67 meg. so the disks must be formatted in a non-standard DMF format. Not really worth the trouble. Found that it was much easier to get an external cd-rom and make a boot disk with the cd drivers on it.
