fatal exception oe

1. please help i've received a fatel exception OE HAS OCCURED AT O14F:BFF9A3CO. THE CURRENT APPLICATION WILL BE TERMINATED. When this happens the computer needs to reboot. It happens almost every day.

2. ALso receive a kernal 32 caused a general protection fault in module user.exe at 0001:000001ac

Hi amr - Welcome to CTH! These errors are not that easy to pinpoint but lets have a look at what is starting on your PC. Perhaps that will provide a clue. Go here (http://www.spywareinfo.com/files/hijackthis.zip) and download and run a scan with Hijack This. Dont make any changes, just click on Save Log, copy it and post it back in this thread.

Hi amr - run a search on your PC for HijackThis.zip or download it again and check where your computer is putting it (when you click on Save, look at the top of the dialogue box and it tells you where it is saving the file. You will also need an unzipping program if you do not have one. You can download one from here (http://www.camdevelopment.com/download.htm) (look for CamUnzip in the Products).

if problems persist while trying to get startuplist and hijackthis, I suggest you start to safe mode

in safe mode, run SYSEDIT
in system.ini, get to the [386enh] section
there you enter the line (or edit it)

EMMExclude=A000-CFFF

save, and close

restart system
