I would like to change the program that is used to open clipart files. The first time I put the cd in to get clipart it asked how do you want to open. In the box below that was always use this program. If you uncheck that box you can change your choise of what you want to use. I forgot to uncheck it and tried to open it with notebook. How can I change it now, everytime I search the cd all the files automaticly open in notebook

Ho ozzie,

Click once on the file you want to open with your left-mouse button
hold down the SHIFT key
click with the right-mouse button and in the menu you will
be offered
Open with...

This will open the list of programs to select from.

Thanks Spider. I just tried what you suggested and it worked great. Sometimes not knowing how to do a simple operation like changing the "open with" stops you from doing what you wanted to, like import clipart. Thanks again you were a big help. :)

Your very welcome.

Hot-keys we use to call them. They do come in handy. Here are a
couple more that come in handy...

Alt + Tab - hold the Alt down and hit the Tab key once. This shows
all open programs and tasks running. Keep the Alt held down and keep hitting the
Tab key and it will cycle through (with a red box) the tasks. When you let go of
the Alt key the task with the red box around it will come to the front of the screen.

Windows + Pause - The Windows key (the one with the Microsoft flag) and the Pause/Break
key bring System Properties up. It has Device Manager and Performance available.

Ctrl + Esc
cursor up
Enter
Enter - reboots the computer.
