i have a laptop and i want to connect to the internet without wires. what devices do i need?

You need either a PCMCIA or USB wireless device for your laptop and a wireless reciever.The type would depend on you connection is it through another computer,router or modem?

if it is modem, are u talking about the modem that comes with the lap top, or a wireless modem.

I meant how do you intend to connect the wireless laptop to the internet i.e.
A : Via a network with a wirelss node attached?
B : Via another PC with wireless node attached?
C: Via a wireless modem?

What type of connection are you going to use
1: ADSL ?
2: dial up ?
3: Lan ?

via wireless modem. it is a home computer. and it is a dail up connection.
