How do I get rid of task scheduler icon next to clock?

I just upgraded some stuff from microsoft and now I have the task icon next to my clock. How do I delete it?

Actually, that was more than likely a part of the Critical Updates Notification update. If you install that update again, the icon will come back.

The best way to get rid of that icon is to just cancel the task which is scheduled. The icon shows up whenever you schedule any task.

Thanks but I have none scheduled that I know of, and yes it was the critical updates I downloaded (she says as she pats herself on the back) No small feat for me.I am learning though.

What others should I update if I may ask? :o

You didn't have to schedule any tasks, the update did it for you.
