I use bearshare for downloading music fouls. When I would click on the bearshare downloads folder I would get the songs I had downloaded. I'd right click the song and click "add to my Real Player play list. My son was messing around on my pc and I have no idea what he's done but now when I go into my bearshare folder instead of having having the option to add songs to my real player list the options now are add to zip zip and e mail. I can't export my songs to real player. When I click the play button after right clicking it's saying i need a program called "mmjblaunch.exe" to open my mp3 files. I didn't need to do this before my son used my pc. Any ideas on how I can fix this. Thanks to anyone who tries to help me. P.S. THE SONGS ALL HAVE A "WINDOWS LOGO ABOVE THE TITLES IN A WHITE PAPER BOX. BEFORE THEY WERE UNDER THE "REAL PLAYER" LOGO. ALL MY PROGRAMS HAVE THAT SAME ADD TO ZIP ETC WHEN I RIGHT CLICK THEM NOW.

Looks like somebody installed Music Match Jukebox (or tried to) on your machine and it stole the file associations. Try this:

Locate an MP3 file you want to open and click once to highlight it.
Now press the shift key and right-click on that file... then click "open with"
When new window opens, find the program you want as your player and select it.
To make this program default, also check the "always use this program..." box
Hit OK and the files should now open in the player you selected.

If Real Player isn't on that list when you get there...then it is likely it got uninstalled. Let us know how it goes.

If all these problems occurred within the past five days, you can roll back your registry to a point before it happened. Boot to DOS and type in:

scanreg /restore

NOTE....there is a space between scanreg and /restore.

and hit the enter key.

You will then get a choice of previous registries that were stored. Choose one (started) from before this Music Match stuff started and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be using your keyboard to navigate these menus since your mouse won't be working. Arrow keys and the "enter" key.

You can get to DOS by restarting and constantly tapping the F8 key until you get the windows boot menu. Choose "Command Prompt Only".

BTW...there is at least one virus I know of that will change files into .ZIP files. An up-to-date virus scan wouldn't hurt in this case.
