Networking my 2 computers

Okay I have a router, its a Netgear RT311. I have 2 computers with NIC cards. The router only has 2 jacks, one "local" and one"internet". How do I hook up both computers to this? Use a hub or something? I know with a one computer setup you hook the computer into the local jack, and the cable modem into the internet jack, but the 2nd comp...?

the best way to handle that is one of 2 ways first either try and get you a router with more than one lan port or you can connect a hub to the lan port on the router and network the 2 computers through the hub
