Question program won't come up

I installed juno internet software and used it once and it worked fine, the next day I clicked on the juno desktop icon and nothing happened, I brought up the device manage and it showed juno running. After a few tries I uninstalled the software shut down the machine and then reinstalled the software with the same results. I changed the modem to a faster modem but I can't see how that would make the program not come up. I checked the modem out in the control panel and it showed that it's working.

I've had this happen on one of my PC's. I only use Juno for the free e-mail, so I never actually tried to fix the problem. However, you could try uninstalling Juno, then deleting any remnants that the uninstall routine left behind. These will typically include folders in Program Files as well as registry entries. Search the Registry and the hard drive for 'Juno' and see what is found. Then try reinstalling the Juno software. Of course, if Juno replaces some system files this might not fix the problem. The sure fire fix is to reinstall Windows and then reinstall Juno, but that is probably more trouble than it is worth.
