Internet connection prob

I have just set up a network and it works well , I can share files & folders between both pcs. The problem I have is the 2nd PC wont connect to the internet , both pcs are winXP Pro and the 2nd pc should connect thro the 1st PC using my DSL connection. I have zonealarm installed on both PCs , I have no problem connecting to the internet thro PC1 but no luck with PC2 (even with zonealarm switched off in PC2).
My network is set up thro a simple hub .
Any ideas pointers etc as Im at my wits end

If I remember correctly, you would have run the Network Wizard on PC1 and set it for Internet Connection Sharing and then run the Wizard on PC2. Is this what you did?

You need to run some sort of proxy software on PC1 to allow PC2 to connect thru it. It can be WinXP's built in ICS feature or some other proxy setup. If you are looking for simple software to setup and use look HERE. It doesn't get any easier.......
