I was changing my PnP BIOS in my Dell XPS T600, from letting the OS handle PnP to the BIOS doing it. Now when I shutdown Win 98SE, after the shutdown screen I get a text prompt "Locating PCI Resources for Creative xxx. Press ENTER to Continue". When I press Enter, the PC shuts down. Why doesn't it do this automatically and turn off without user intervention. I have a SB Live card installed.
BTW, I have tried the clear extended info flag to clear these settings with no change.
