When working in Internet Explorer it keeps coming up with a errror message.

"An exeption OD has occurred at 0028:0077007E in VxD ----. This was called from 0028:C182D0A0 in VxD voltrack (04) + 00000430. It may be possible to continue normally."

I end up having to hold down the power button and reboot. I can hardly brows the web anymore.

Note: It also does it when trying to read from a CD for a game. Exept the message says something about VxD VFAT(01) I dont know what the deal is.

Alright. Since it is happening in both places I suspect something is running at startup. Please go here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/downloads/download.php/id/37) and download Startup List. Unzip the files (if you need a program to do so I suggest installing Cam Unzip (http://www.camdevelopment.com/cam_unzip/default.htm))
Run the unzipped file and post the log back here.

Good Luck:)

Ok, I disabled the whole startup tab through msconfig. I am still getting that error message though, even when not in IE, it does it in various programs.

Hi StevenMe - make sure that you have installed all critical updates for WinME. If that doesnt help, try uninstalling and reinstalling your CD-RW software. If you still have a problem, check out the vendors website and see if a firmware upgrade is available.

When I went to uninstall Nero I clicked on My Computer and It came up with the blue screen error message. When I right click on the Start button and click "explore" it comes up with the error message. And when I first start the computer it has started coming up with the error but then I can push a key and it continues opperating (for a while). How can I uninstall Nero? Could it be a disk problem, it is about 4 years old. The problem is getting worse, I cant do anything on it now.

What now.

Can you get into Safe Mode (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/tutorials/tutorial.php/id/24) and uninstall it there?
