I have a 30 gig hd with about 3 gigs of mp3 music on it. when I try to backup to my removable hd also 30 gig, it gets partially done and gives me the message file size too large.I tried another backup program and same message. any ideas? Thanks Ted

You could try either copy or cut and paste from on HD to the other HD. Thats how I do my backups. Works great and never had an error.(Atleast not as of yet) Give that a try.

How are you "backing up"?
Are you using ghosting software?
FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit. So if you are making an image & it exceeds 4GB, then you will get an error.
