Need a little help over here

i recently bought a Linksys etherfast 10/100 LAN card LNE100TX ver 5.1 i installed it fine followed the directions in the quick installation everything is fine when i go to network connections and click on my connection it says is is connected at 100.0 Mbps but heres the problem i cant connect to the internet +( i cant activate my windows xp or use internet explorer.....can anyone help me with this?

We'll need a little more info...

Open a command prmopt and type "ipconfig /all" (no quotes) and post the results.

To open a command prompt...

Start>>run>>cmd>>enter

How do you connect to the internet? This is a new install of xp I gather?
