I need these types of programs..

hey i wanan start recording some music (my own music) and a mixing program(where i can create my own beats)

k let me go more detailed..

Voice Editing Program
---------------------

I'm looking for a program where you can record yourself then you can edit your voice.. (like DJ's do) everyone know what i'm talking about?

Mixing Program
---------------
Either a program that can rip background music out and take out lyrics.. or a program where i can create my own beats...

If anyone knows where i can get some of these please notify me! A.S.A.P!

Hello,

Try PCDJ's site, I think this is the software that you want. They have a fee shareware download of there products.

Alas cooledit 2000 is no more since Adobe has bought out syntrillium.

But if you can find an old copy or better yet an old copy of Cooledit Pro v2.0 or 2.1 (both are good) you'd be set. The new Adobe Audition is basically the same thing (Cool Edit 2.1)

IMHO this is the best all around editor period. The fact that the price is so much lower than the competition is a bonus. BTW other editors do not give you a multi-track, only a single mono/stereo track to work in. Sound quality is the same.

However if you want to work with loops, the defacto standard is Sonic Foundry ACID which has a sound file editor as well.
