js.noclose.e virus

Hi

I have hp with win me first it is infected with the noclose virus that mcafee didn't see found it with pc housecall the free on line virus scan it says it is uncleanable does someone know how to get rid of it?

I believe the virus came when a britney spears jenifer lopaz appeared suddenly on the computer and I can't delete it every time I try to do something with it it locks up my pc tried to rename (couldn't ) tried to delete it (couldn't)
searched the registry and couldn't find it any ideas??

thanks for the replies I checked out all the suggestions according to all the anti virus people all I have to do is disable the the restore and empty all temp folders and reboot but all that has been done and the noclose is still there I think the file I can't delete is the culprit any ideas short of reformatting the hd on how to get rid of that file?

Boot into safe mode and delete the file.
