I have a long audio track in MP3 format that is composed of many individual elements: songs, commercials, promos, etc.

I'd like to burn individual songs and elements onto a CD in an order I determine.

Is there a handy utility that helps me edit a single audio track into multiple parts, whose order I determine? I could, for example say I want the audio from 1:30 to 2:35 to run first, then 4:50 to 7:25.

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

Hi Slumlord. I use a program called Goldwave. You can cut out parts and save them individually, so in effect you can chop one long mp3 individual tracks. It is free to try and can be downloaded from here. Just put in a search for goldwave

Thanks, Bazzaar! That sounds *exactly* like what I'm looking for! I will download Goldwave and try it and report back.
