Compressed CD writing.

hi

I had seen a of CD(700Mb). In that when I checked the cd Properties the data size is shown as 486MB. This cd is Bootable one with Win2000 pro, Win2000serv & WinAdvServ. So I surprised when I explored the CD and checked the data size by select All - properties it is shown as 1.5GB. It is sure that it is not a DvD. So my question is How we can write datas to a CD like this ? Is there any S/w Available for compressed data writing? Let me know .

Apreciate your reply.

Regards
Navas

norton ghost will compress a 1.1g to about 600mb on fastmode(just backed up a partition) and even more on high compression and write directly to a cdr from the bootdisk!
