Is there a way to have Open Office open password protected microsoft office files as long as you know the password? (it's running on Windows 2000 Pro)

At least not as far as I have been able to tell from OO.0 site.
Certainly can't get it to work on a MSOffice 2000 doc with OO.o on Linux.
