irfanview icl help

It says under features that irfanview can view icl and dll files. I've downloaded all the plug ins and can't get it to work.
Any suggestions?

I looked at the features, I also use Irfanview, and it can extract icons from EXE/DLL/ICLs. What exactly is it that your trying to do?

At this point I would just like to see the different icons in the icl. Is there a method to doing that? With other icon programs I just click on the icl and it shows thumbnails of all the icons. When I click on an icl with irfanview all I get is the icon for the icl itself.
