Registry Back Up

Which is the best, the most easy and relaible Registry Back up software available freely or as sharware on the net which can easily back up your current registry settings so that if I install any testing software and something goes wrong, with a simple click I am able to restore my system.

Windows very own registry backup utility. Access it through the file menu in registry editor.

i assume we're still talking Win98, you don't even HAVE to back up before installing software.

Since we are talking about possible scenarios where the registry gets so mucked up you may not be able to boot into Windows (even in Safe mode), a "single clisk" Windows program is more than likely going to be pretty ineffective.

I would always counsel making a back up before making manual registrychanges but purely for a software install, scanreg /restore from a command prompt after rebooting will recover from a corrupt registry.
