Of course when another computer has connected to mine over the network when I go to shutdown it says that there are (1) users connected, are you sure you wish to shut down..i have a program on here to automatically shutdown at a certain time but I found out it didn't shut down because of that. My question is, is there any way to get that notification about users being connected to go away so the computer can shut down without having to click on that? Thanks.

If your talking about using a program such as Napster, when someone is Uploading a file from your PC. There is no way I am aware of to keep this Message from coming up. You could always set it up to NOT allow your computer to be used as a server. This is how I have set up. Less hassles... But then you cant actually share files that way.

About the only thing I know of is to keep other people from accessing your PC....

I'm not talking about napster or anything like that...I'm talking about other computers on the network (small-office) that have maybe pulled a file off of mine and are still "connected" to my computer, because the have entered the password to view my files. So when windows shuts down it tells me if someone is still connected to my computer and asks if I still want to shut down. Thats what I wondered about getting rid of... having it not ask me if I still want to shut down and just shutting down.
