Outlook help
Does anyone know if it is possible to set Outlook up with multiple smtp's? I travel to ten different locations for work (usually several in one day) and each uses a different ISP. I am tired of having to go into each outlook account and change the SMTP server each time I get to a new store. If not, does anyone know a comparable product that will do this?

why not just setup new accounts?
you can then have several accounts with the same email address but different SMTP servers.

I thought about that, setting up a profile for each location then using the same data file, but was wondering if there was a shorter way.

I didn't mean a new Profile for every account.
1 profile can have several, if not unlimited, email accounts.

I tried that and it doesn't work. My email address is the same, it's only the smtp server that changes. When it ties to send an email, it gives me an error for each mail account that is not on the correct smtp.

it will do. you only send/recieve mail for the account with the current available SMTP
Can't think of any other way to do it.

The simplest way is to set up a different account for each SMTP server in Outlook>Tools>Accounts. After you've set up each one, go back into Tools>Accounts, select one at a time, go to Properties and on the General tab, type in a name for that account...whatever you want to name it so you can remember which is which.
Also, on the same General tab, uncheck the box next to "Include this account when receiving mail or sychronizing." That will keep it from checking all the accounts every time you start Outlook up. Click OK. Do the above two steps for each account you've set up. Now, when you want to check email on a certain account, open OE, go to Tools>Send and Receive and click on the account you want to check. When you want to send mail, in the New Message window, click on the tiny drop-down arrow at the right-hand side of the Send button (there won't be such an arrow until you have two or more accounts set up in Outlook) and click on the account you want it to use to send the mail.
