Disk Cleaner?

Hi Everyone: Last Night I ran a (thorough) Scan Disk and Defrag with good success, However I do not know what Disk Cleaner is and When to use it! Can anyone help? Thank You

If you are referring to windows disk cleanup, then it is easy to use, but you want to make sure what you get rid of is trash and not usefull files. You want to have someone nearby when you run the program, who can explain to you exactly what it is doing.

If however, you have a program called disc cleaner, which erases all the files forever, then this program is extememely dangerous, and you Do Not want to use it.

Thanks Rusty for letting me know. I have windows 98SE and it has a program called Disc Cleaner! So i will take your advice and not use it. I don't want to lose any files. TOM
