Font problem

Hi there.
I downloaded a font pack from Kazaa and installed it.
Everything is fine except that on some things like MSN and some games the fonts come out as small boxes. [] something like that.
Does anyone know what this is or how I can get it back to normal.
Thank you very much.
Danny.

The small box means it is an unrecognized or invalid character.

I could be wrong since I have the same thing with some fonts I have downloaded but I have always took it for granted this was because the specific software did not recognized the font. And as far as I know, there is no way around it.

If the font is messing with other programs you are running, I would suggest deleting it. If you are still having font problems, I would run a virus scan and possibly spybot.

This could also be due to corrupt or invalid font files. Some applications will show font error more than other applications.

Consider the source where you got your fonts. I would say you got a few bad fonts.

Yea, uninstall, download again, and reinstall. If the the font will work with your software. There is not always an easy way to do things.
