Looking for a free Registry Cleaner...

Are there any other reliable and free registry cleaners besides RegCleaner (http://www.winguides.com/software/display.php/25/)? I'm going to fix up a a coworker's computer tonight after work and a big part of it will be cleaning the registry. The problem with RegCleaner is that it always wants to clean up what it considers old files, which are often settings for programs like WMP and IE and whatnot. This registry has never been hacked, cleaned, or even accessed manually since installing XP Home over a year ago. I can already foresee it being a mess and I'd rather not have to waste a lot of time going through all the entries that regcleaner says are invalid to pick out the good from the bad.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

There are a few freebiesHERE (http://www.webattack.com/freeware/system/fwregtools.html) but I've never used them.

The best one I found is ace utilities http://www.acelogix.com/

There is a free 30 uncrippled trial. It should be sufficent for what you need it for.

Webster if your looking for a registry cleaner try RegSeeker...one of the best out there and it"s freeware...very small in size....easy to use and understand an all around efficient registry cleaner :cool:
