Mapi32 virus
Hi,
I got hit with the Mapi32 virus, by opening an e-mail. I tried to reload Win2000 to over right any problems but the computer keeps locking up in the middle of the installation because the Mapi32 virus keeps kicking in. How do I get out of Windows istallation and back into Windows. Everytime I reboot it goes right into installing Windows. thanks for any help Drew :no:

Hi gandalf - I do not have Win2K so I could be corrected here but as far as I can tell, your best option is to reformat and reinstall your OS.
When you say "the Mapi32 virus", if you are referring to Swen, it would have been quite simple to remove if you hadnt tried to reinstall your OS.
