What will happen if I delete all of the cache files in my cache folder. Will that cause problems for me? I'm not worry about not being able to locate a site I have visited previously

For your browsers - go for it. It could even help with your access speed. However, depending upon the browser, be aware that it will delete your cookies so you will have to login to different sites again. Personally I do it weekly and sometimes more.
