...I am reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson who is in my opinion one of the best writers of the 20th/21st century. For those of you who aren't familiar with Hunter, he is currently writing a column on espn.com and has been for the past couple of years. You can check it out @ http://espn.go.com/page2/s/thompson/

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this pure Gonzo Journalism with those of you who have no clue who he is. And seeing the movie doesn't count, you have to read to appreciate his work. :)

Say what??????? 'Splain yourself, chicken!

But really, it's such a neat book! I had no idea the guy was working with ESPN now, would never have guessed it!

Had a crazy mutt dog 25 or so years ago. He was crazy from the day I got him, named him Gonzo. Best damn dog I ever had and I've had a few.

Never read that, but based on the synopsis, Fear and Loathing is something I can understand, Stig and the Dump is out of my league :p
