help for blue screen stop error. running win 2000 and can't get it to boot up keep getting ( ** stop;0x0000007b (0xf742384c,0xc0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000) inaccessible_boot_device.
please help me fix this problem. or is there some place i can download a fix for this . any help would be great.

Welcome to CTH chuckb38. It might help if you could give us some more background to your problem. Had you just installed new software/hardware etc when the error occurred? If so, what software/hardware? Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? The more information we have, increases our ability help you.

no did not install any software or hardware, tried to boot in the sfe mode and still got the same. computer is an (Ibm Think Pad) running win 2k. whitch was installed on the computer when purchased did not get win 2k disk. wish could tell more but can not sorry. thought someone might have had the same problem and could tell me how to fix.

Did you get a recovery cd with the computer?
