IE wont start cos of OLEaut32.dll

Hi

I have just installed ME and my modem. Everything I thought was fine. I was on the internet fine. THen I realised I couldnt open more than one IE. I kept getting the errror:

IE has caused an error in OLEAUT32.dll. IE will now close. If the prob persists please restart your machine.

I have restarted and it still persits. In fact it is evern worse now. It wont even open up one IE anymore. I have gone to network settings and logged onto the internet from there but again IE wont open. I dont have much experience with ME so any hlep would be appreciated

I have downloaded another version of OLEAUT32.dll thinking I coudl replace it because it may be corrupted. However I cannot get at it because the file is being used by windows. The web sit eyou can download dlls from is http://www.dll-files.com/ I was quite impressed and it might be of use to ohters.

I havent actually had to use them. I suddenly realised that the prob started when I downloaded and installed Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) I uninstalled it and it worked fine. Its odd cos Ive had no probs with DAP in the past.
