im not sure if i am allowed to post this so if the moderators remove this i fully understand.

I have been looking at developing firstly a very basic car hire site of about 5 pages running a hyper link through the main car hire companies existing web site and data base. So all that is needed on this one is pictures some graphics and wording placed around their drop boxes and their terms and conditions.

I have gone round and round with web companies from the reasonably priced to the down right ludicrous and was toying with the idea of learnig to do it myself.

Having looked into it ill never do it myself between work my missus and my 4 month old son i got 2 hopes.

And the web companies dont really seem to have a clue or their own intiative.

this is the first project and once this is up and running and some time in the future i am looking at a much more complicated complete my own website and background booking system linked to client records and so on.

i live in hertford / essex (but i dont own a cortina) so ideally looking for someone who is nearby that can help me with this.

if your the man / woman (political correctness) for the job please let me know

cheers

Nothing wrong with looking for someone to build a website for you. There are plenty of people who are starting out that would love a chance like this to get their 'portfolio' going. I'll bet that we have some of those such folks on the forums and someone will speak up. Although, since this is more of a request for services rather than a 'programming' issue, I am moving the thread to the "Website and Graphics" forum and touching up the subject line to help you get the right type of readers.

Good luck....
