mornin! chaps and chapesis
Need someones help with the above. The drive is new but I can`t get the damn thing to work, although my device manager say`s that its working correctly.when I insert a floppy and try to open it I get a message saying that the drive is not accessable and to insert a disc. The damn thing is installed corectly i.e ribbons connected ,power etc and makes the right noises.(sort of!). HELP! Its doing my head in!!!!!!!!! |

If this is the case, turn the connector over. If another FDD, properly installed, doesn't work, then I'd suspect the FDD Controller and you can either get a new MB or get a controller expansion card. |
