Close only one frame script
Hello everyone,
I have been searching for a script that will allow a user to turn off the navigation menu frame in my site. My objective is to load other sites in the mainFrame, but I want to give users the option to turn off the sideFrame (which has the navigation for my site). The one site where I've seen it used is in the About.com pages, where they give you the option to "Turn off this top frame" or "Go back to topic site." Thanks! -Mishell

It would be better to open the off site page in a new window.
target="_blank" It is bad form to include another persons site within a frame without permission.

I know how annoying it is to get trapped in frames and usually do load other sites in separate windows; however, this particular site is a sort of "directory" of local organizations. I think it woud be easier for our users to browse through the different sites while still keeping ours "active," but want to give them the option of exiting completely out of our site (with the frame off script) when they find what they are looking for.
