I cant find a way to delete posts i dont want to leave open anymore..
Is there such a way, or do they have to remain open?
Thanks

Simply PM one of the mods. Only moderators or administrators have that ability.

However, keep in mind that someone searching the forums may find the answer they need in one of your posts. This will likely be considered when asking to delete a post.

If you do not want any more replies in a thread, just type a final reply saying closed thread.

If you are embarrassed about something you typed, well, then all you can do is "grin and bear" it :uhoh:

Personally, I make a lot of boo boos in forums that I wish I could erase - some very embarrassing either because of ignorance or typos.

You could always edit the post to remove the text.

true, but then others would not be helped if they had the same problem and used the search feature of this forum (I did not make that suggestion because of that). Nor will it take away what was quoted in the replies.

It does come in handy because I have used it to correct some, not all, of my goofs :p
